Creative photo session with a sackful of oversized ceramic apples, a bucket of pottery bones and genius photographer Kirsty Pye,
The amazing images will shape the promotional flyer to accompany the interactive installations in all three Hereford Museums, designed to signpost visitors to each venue.
When he’s not wiring up oversized ceramic apples or lighting strange brick clay cooking pots here at Eastnor Pottery, digital and creative maestro Ashley Brown gets to work on some pretty amazing projects.
He is currently Artist in Residence at Pervasive Media at the Watershed in Bristol having successfully applied for the post earlier this year.
Catch up with what he’s up to by visiting his blog.
The list of artists and craftspeople involved in my project seems to be growing by the day!
Have just enlisted the knowledge and skills of furniture designer Mr Timothy Hawkins to make x8 circular bases for my ceramic apples. The disks & apples will then sit in the top of x8 genuine woodern kilderkin cider barrels. It’s going to look so cool!
I’ve driven past Tim’s place on the Ledbury/Hereford Rd so many times without stopping so it was nice to have an excuse to call in – fab gallery filled with lovely stuff & well worth a visit! Website
